As the $4.4 million redevelopment will see the emergency department and acute care ward moved from the second-storey of the building to the main floor a few disruptions are to be expected.
From Monday, July 22 to Friday July 26, minor building works will be undertaken outside the current main entrance of the hospital.
To ensure the safety of staff, patients and visitors, a temporary entrance will be made available near the Physiotherapy Department on the western side of the hospital during this period.
Access to the hospital via the main entrance will be restored on Saturday July 27.
